NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A Corona del Mar High School teacher was put on paid leave in the wake of a physical altercation with a student.
The alleged “battery involving a teacher and a juvenile” happened earlier this year, according to Jennifer Manzella of the Newport Beach Police Department.
The unidentified drama teacher was placed on leave June 5, said Laura Boss of the Newport Mesa Unified School District.
